Report for period 6th April 2009 to 30th November 2010

The Sheena Booth Music Trust

Annual Report and Accounts

for the period 6th April 2009 to 30th November 2010 (date of closure)

We have had three sessions this half term and they have all been brilliant. Luke brings with him such enthusiasm and energy and works very hard to keep the sessions on track.......The music they have provided has given the children on the Acorn Unit a really positive experience for them to take away from a hospital stay.

This year's children seem to have made more progress than in previous years, so it's fantastic that your grant will enable more of these children to continue to learn an instrument.

on the whole class teaching scheme at the school

“ ... My time in the States was an unforgettable experience and I am truly grateful that the trust has been funding my musical studies and allowing me to develop and progress as a musician during my time as a Sixth Form Student.....”

I was very impressed with the level of enjoyment and enthusiasm for singing in the Reception classes and, most encouraging to relate, the teaching staff are extremely enthusiastic and keen to participate.
